Digitakt save sample without assigning to track

Hello and best wishes for the new year!
New to digitakt and have this question:
I sample something, hit save, give a name to the sample, but I do not want to assign the sample to any track yet. If I press “No” to skip track assignment, where do I find this sample ? It seems that it was not saved…
Do I miss something?

I think it gets added to the sample pool for the current project. Just scroll down to the end of the list.

I think you should also find it on the plus drive in the recordings folder.
