I’ve been looking for a while now and can’t find a straight answer in the manual an online.

Can you use the scales/fold function for sequencing midi?

And on the digitise/syntakt?

Fold/scale the keyboard on a midi out track? Absolutely, and it’s great for sequencing poly synths. Works on all 3 Digi boxes.

There’s not a quantize-to scale feature on editing or transposing already-entered trigs (an often requested feature).

thanks! exactly the answer i was after. Yh figured it’s not a midi effect but more a “templat” for programming in key

is there a per pattern scale function yet? or still per track

When you set a KB scale or fold it keeps that for all tracks in a pattern.

(Per-track and per-pattern scale that gets mentioned elsewhere here refers to time-scaling, it’s an unfortunate term overlap that can be a potential source of confusion…)
