my setup has digitakt as midi sync master and i have ableton as slave using arrange view.
when a midi sync slave, does anyone know a way to get ableton to not always start at the beginning of the arrangement? sometimes i want it to start at bar 20 for example.
can’t seem to make this happen, even using locators doesnt appear to work. Not sure if its the way digitakt is sending midi sync or if its a limitation of ableton as slave?
Its not easy for me to swap them around with ableton being master so seeing if there is a workaround for this issue of ableton’s song start position.
