Digitakt sync w/ mutant brain and keystep

Hi, hoping I can find some help here. I’m using midi out from digi to midi in on mutant brain, midi out from keystep to midi in on digi. And I want to be able to send the digi clock back into keystep so I can do arps, is this possible with some sort of adapter or retrokits device? Or can I do something with the digi’s midi thru?

use one of the gate outs on the mutant brain as a clock out to the input of the key step
