Digitone Ableton No Fx for Seperated Tracks

Hi!

Is it possible to hear the wet fx signal of the digitone fx engine, if I just monitor the tracks seperatly in Ableton via overbridge?

I think it might has something to with the send/return technique that is used inside the digitone signal flow, but maybe I am doing something wrong :sob:

Looking forward to hear from you

You can record the four tracks separately as dry signals (with FX only going to the Main outs if you configure it to do that in the settings) or else record each track individually with effects from the mains. There’s no way to record tracks with the FX included on each one. I hope that makes sense.

So for monitoring it is possible to hear the FX.

So you mean I can just mix the 100% wet fx signal to to 4 individual 100 % dry tracks in Ableton?

It‘s a send FX. So if other tracks are playing and have also FX sent they are audible. So you would have to mute all other tracks.

On the Digitone, you can decide what gets sent over USB to the main outs channel in Overbridge – so choose to route the three FX only. Then, in Overbridge within your DAW, you can set up four audio tracks to record/monitor each of the Digitone’s tracks without FX and then set up another audio channel to record/monitor the FX separately via the Main Outs. In fact, it’s quite flexible as you can always increase or decrease the volume of the FX track to taste later on.

It’s in this Route to Main section for patterns:

Or for global settings (the preferred option, I think):

So, route the four tracks using the T1-T4 buttons to Send to FX, then only Chorus, Delay and Reverb to the Route to Main.
