Digitone behaving sporadically/not responding to midi controller

So I’ve been bouncing my head off my desk for a few days trying to solve this.
Using a Roli rise 49 to try and control my DN and it behaves very sporadically.
I can’t seem to get the DN to respond to CC messages sent when trying to adjust parameters (I.E. harmonic, cutoff frequency, etc.) with the X,Y pad on the Roli controller. When it does respond they seem to make huge jumps in values.

(Was trying to see if I could enable the Turbo Speed option in the MIDI setup to fix it, and it won’t turn on either?)

I definitely have the correct CC channel selected, but maybe there’s other fine tuned settings on the roli’s end that I’m missing, or how I’ve got the DN setup?

Another little issue is when i have the glide function setup up so I can express tremolo/pitch bend on the DN it will intermittently will jump up or down in pitch. far outside what would be expected.

If any of you are also using these two together, or have some knowledge on this I would be grateful.
Otherwise, my next step is selling the Roli and buying a much cheaper, easier to use, and more reliable option, aha.

While this won’t help with you whole problem. Turbo midi need to have the both the midi in and out of the devices connected to one another and both devices need to support the turbo midi protocol.

Well that explains that bit. I read that in the manual, but guess I didn’t fully understand. thanks for the info!
