Hello, 1.40. When I click on the stop button, in MIDI mode, on the T1, it stops the notes on the software on my iPad
A genre all notes off, and to be able to play them again I have to turn off aum or drambo for example …
Already reported ?
Thx !
So I tried searching but couldn’t find if anyone else reported this, maybe someone can reproduce it:
Steps to reproduce:
- setup a 16 step arp on step 1
- put a p-lock step down on any step 2-16
- lock an obvious parameter like filter cutoff
- play the sequence
Current behaviour
on the p-locked step the locked parameter is not used and the value seems to be the value of step 1
Expected behaviour
on the p-locked step the locked parameters should be used
am I remembering this incorrectly or did the phase reset (SYN2 page 2) was default to ALL and now to OFF?
I don’t remember setting it manually to ALL every time until after the latest update?
maybe I’ve changed something in the settings somewhere?
i dont know how it happened but i got locked in inside step recording mode, with no ways to exit it.
it might have been something to do with using step recording mode and add note menu.
was as if FUNC is perma held, even though it wasnt and was functioning like normal, bringing up keyboard whenever pressed.
phase reset on my INIT patches is set to ALL by default. does that persist between patterns/projects for you?
ok double checked it and it’s weird, after switching to new empty patterns / banks the init presets seems to have the phase on ALL, but on existing patterns where I already did something the init sounds have phase on OFF, like if I have 2-3 tracks in use out of 4, the empty ones with the init preset have it on OFF, as if something else set them OFF… really weird, but no issue on a new pattern so that’s cool, maybe something else resets the phase setting…
Alas, the new OS 1.40A breaks Control All Revert (MIDI+NO). I’m using this feature constantly so this is a bummer.
Mine is not updating from 1.40 to 1.40a. I’ve tried STANDARD mode and STARTUP menu methods via Transfer 1.5 to no avail. When the machine boots the OS displayed is 1.40 and the same OS shows up when I connect it to to Transfer. I don’t have this issue with my Syntakt and Digitakt
NVM. Power cycled the machine, re-downloaded firmware, and upgraded again. Now the proper OS version is showing up.
Strange. I use this feature as well. Do you know why it’s been changed?
A couple times lately the copy/paste functions have gotten stuck on (ie without holding FUNC). Last time was after entering the audio routing menu. latest OS
I don’t think it’s been changed it’s more likely a bug.
It seems I’ll have to wait a little bIt more for having the song mode on the Digitone.
I don’t think you have to. Unless you want a second song mode.
Hello !
I have a big on my Digitone Keys that might be hardware I assume, I remember stumbled into a couple of post expressing the same issue but I can not find them anymore… si here is the thing :
Whenever I press FUNC+yes (for exemple in page mode for switch to lenght per track) the software record a double tap, and it’s happening more and more often, it also happen with the MOD wheel button, and also when I try to edit a trig in the sequencer it often happens that the trig is being replaced by a new trig as if I rewrite over it, I thought it was because the button were sensitive and I have to really keep them on push before starting editing parameter but now I start to believe that it might be the same double taping issue…
Does anyone has similar issue with their digitone/keys ?
Thank you forward
Edit : I bought it second hand under OS 1.32, it was already happening and still is under 1.40
Not sure if this is a bug or something related to MIDI introducing latency in the hardware.
Setup:
T-1 to OT in
OT out+thru to merge box
Merge 1 out to DN in
DN thru to A4 in
Merge 2 out to DT in
DT thru to AH in
T-1 is sending clock to all units.
T-1 is sending cc/notes to all units except OT
DN, DT and A4 set up to receive clock, cc, notes and pattern change.
Bug: DN synth page 2 acting weird when a sequence is running. When I press the Syn2 button to Che k the values on that page, it reacts extremely slowly i.e. not showing values until I release Syn2 button then it slowly shows values and then switch ba k slowly to normal display.
Edit: thinking further… Funny thing happening when stopping a sequence fron T-1. If I then press stop on DN, the tempo indicated revert to the default 120bpm. Same thing on A4. In the case of DT it stays at the clicked tempo. When I hit play again on T-1, tempo goes back to sync on all units. Surely something to do with either T-1 or the merge box.
Sorry for deviating.
DN 1.40 refused to not re-use voices for me today.
during sound design sessions i play all the voices live through midi on a single track, and i noticed that something felt off.
playing two 4 voice chords in different places would result in first chord voices being eaten.
i checked the voice allocation menu, and everything was at default (all voices available, cycle, reuse is disabled). when i looked at where voices were when i played them, they would just land on their previous spots, sometimes one or two voices would escape tho. (seemingly only on the neighbour squares)
Flipping reuse on and off, aswell as other settings, didnt change anything, so i tried reboot and it fixed itself and began to function normally
ill give an update if i manage to recreate it, but i really havent done anything besides editing track sounds on a new project.
I sent mine in for repair for those double-taps, I believe it is a physical issue with the front-panel soldering, not code.
Hi! I’m really sorry if this has been reported before, but I can’t access support tickets on the site for some reason (and it generally works kind of slow)
I’m using Digitakt to mute and unmute tracks on Syntakt and Digitone. Digitakt’s mute dest set to int+ext on the Midi Port Config Page. All the channels on ST and DN are set accordingly, to correspond to the MIDI tracks on DT.
Syntakt responds to mutes as expected.
Digitone, instead of muting a track when I mute the corresponding MIDI track on DT, changes LFO destination to something else, then to no destination and back again.
I’m using pattern mutes, and Digitone has layering on in the voice section, but I don’t think that’s relevant.
DT and DN are on 1.40, ST is 1.20. Midi going to ST and thru to DN.
upd: global mutes work fine. the issue only occurs when using pattern mutes
Is there a logical answer to why Envelope Reset, Trig and Phase Reset on SYN2 Page are controllable via Midi CC 87, 88 and 89 (Manual Page 96) but not available as Parameter Lock?
