Digitone encoder sensitivity

Having some issues with encoder sensitivity. Seems to only be on some pages, but when I turn some encoder knobs slowly they don’t register any change on the device. Can be fixed by clicking down on the knob when I turn, or turning more faster/more drastically. Any one else encounter this issue? Are there any fixes?

If you are lucky it resolves after spending some time turning a bunch of rotations. If not (like me) you end up annoyed by the quality of some batches. My Heat skips every turn on the data encoder from day 6. My 2 year old digitone has one bad encoder too and 4 years old digitakt has the same problem. Doesn’t seem to be that much better build than cheaper brands. You can send it for repair or order spare encoders to do it yourself. Not for inexperienced diy’ers though.

Well that’s annoying to hear. Although it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the encoder (ie hardware) itself, since it only fails to work properly on some specific pages and only on specific patterns. So I’m wondering if it might be a software issue. Specifically having issues with the newly added mixer page from the last update, so hopeful it’s that. Never any problems like this until today.
