I wish they’d make 2 pages for each Midi CC page, in the OT style.
First page is the values, second the CC numbers. That would allow 16 control knobs instead of 8 (even the OT has 12 with less knobs).

Can the digitone to microtonal scales? It’d be amazing if you could upload scala files into it
Thanks for your input!
What I am trying to achieve is to have triggers on eurorack sequencer, send them to DN. Triggers don’t need to be recorded on DN, as they won’t be erased from eurorack sequencer. However, it would have been handy to be able to record JUST parameter locks (for instance filter frequency). That would have save quite a bit of money on modules.
Because now, I’d have to use modules to modulate filter frequency (module for modulation + CV->MIDI), so I don’t have to press record on DN at all. Otherwise, if I try to to record parameter locks, it also records the trigger pattern. And then it keeps playing triggers from eurorack + recorded triggers + parameter locks.
Random Arps - which include locking to the chosen scale, and the ability for the arp to swing.
Song mode, for the love of god Elektron!
LED dimming
Mixer page
1 - LFO per page
More note/chord options
Is there any app that can send sysex or whatever to queue a pattern chain for you?
Do people just set them up in between each track?
I know these have been said, but just +1 whatever:
This is a great idea, and building on this. Why can’t I select any Modwheel, Aftertouch, Breath Control, or Pitch Bend as an LFO destination? That would help so much. I currently use my Digitakt for this, so not a big deal for me, but would help a lot when using the Digitone solo.
Song writing is the heart of producing, having a longer track length on the Digitone would open a more experimental way of writing, I know there’s a work arounds using the scale feature and trig conditions, but its not the same, even the length to be a 128 steps would be nice.
The 64 step / pattern limitation works for most of my projects, which are arrangements of short tunes.
Recently I’ve arranged songs with one bar per pattern. arranged some stuff where I needed more than 64 steps; I chose to split the song among adjacent patterns. My m.o. in these cases is to perfect the first phrase/pattern, before moving onto to next ones, copy the first pattern into the remaining ones, then change notes and rhythms in the remaining patterns while keeping the sound/filter/lfo/effect settings consistent through the song.
It’s not a perfect workaround. I might end up having to copy/paste page settings if I decide to change course from what I “perfected” in the first phrase / pattern of the song.
Instead of fundamentally changing the 64 step limitation, maybe Elektron could allow “grouping” of a set of adjacent patterns, so parameter changes set in one pattern could apply to all the patterns in the group. Likewise, a “group” of patterns could be set to play from start to finish without having to manually cue/chain them.
It seems to correspond with the Parts system on the OT and the arranger.
A Formant Filter like the Yamaha F1sr
Or Modor… nice thing to have for sure
A working Overbridge that doesn’t require a plug-in restart to keep it synced to a DAW. Same with Digitakt.
Off the top of my head
Operator phase control (not just reset)
LFO keytracking
Master detune per track
P-lockable arp settings
There you go, 1.32 is here
And after 1.32, the first thing I’m requesting is to use that neat envelope delay graphic on filter page 2 for the envelope delay on the A/B operator envelops, on SYN2 page 2.
According to the new OB & DN updated it looks like this has been fixed. Yes!!
I’m happy to report that I attempted a live record of a polyphonic pattern while using a channel other than auto on Monday night, and HOORAY! It worked!!!
OS update is massive improvement.
QOL improvement, scrolling the dual values of B gets a bit tedious when wanting to do bigger adjustments, so why not have independant coarse values for each operator on page 2 where the ratio offset is, like this:
I think this would speed up programming.
