Probably not possible, but extra algorithms would be a nice addition.

Dry/Wet control on the internal effects: with 100%wet the DN become an external FX unit for mixerās send/return.
Before I forget, this one: ability to lock the encoder values on midi tracks so my sausage fingers donāt keep changing the midi channel or the bank/program by accident.

I think theyāve got something big up their sleeves for the DN. If you look at the track record of updates for all of their machines, itās only a matter of time until another great update will drop.

Ess left more than one year ago. Iād like to share your optimism but Iām not seeing (new) Elektron spending large ressources on a product thatās been way less successful than the Digitakt.
Iāve got no clue how to run a company making electronic music devices and I donāt know how much more successful the DT sold in comparison to the DN. However, just from a logical point of view, wouldnāt it make more sense to release an update for a machine that is not selling as well in order to generate hype and appeal to more potential customers? Why would it be more beneficial for elektron to release an update for the DT because it is the more successful unit? People already bought it, elektron is not making any money on already sold units with an update.

I think youāre overestimating Essā importance here.
A company like Elektron with thousands of users over the whole world cannot afford to rely on only one developer.

Is audio routing to Tip and Ring for separate Tracks possible?

I might be wrong, but Tip and Ring are just L and R, so you can pan your tracks to Tip and Ring just like you can do it to Left and Right. So, yes.

Iām sure model handles was a financial disaster, on top of pandemic problems, so surely thatās more relevant to updates and new models than a few people leaving. I bet weāll see an update for the DN and AR

You also have a chord modā¦ But no prewritted inversion.
Thatās why a good implĆ©mentation for an update would be : chords inversions
