Hey! So I’ve had a Digitone for a month or so now and I am trying to integrate it with fl studio 20. I watch that video someone here did with the digitakt and followed the same guild lines. So basically I have it sending from the Digitone, to 4 separate channels. But when I press play it just plays it, I’m trying to figure out how to record it or enter in midi. Also I was wondering why some sounds play without effects when I solo them on a individual channel. If you can help that’d be amazing, thanks !
Haven’t looked at the settings for sending midi from FL to the Digitone.
Are you asking how to record your Digitone tracks into FL Studio? Or the other way around?
Yeah how to record I to dm, I kinda figured it out but it sounds thinner when I do it all 4 channels to a seperate mixer track vs the one mono track that has all 4. Is that just because it’s not going out of the master bus of the Digitone?
Alright, you need to route the individual tracks to separate mixer channels from the Digitone plugin itself in FL studio. (Under the processing tab).
Not sure about the sound quality though. Should be fine…
I haven’t looked closely in the Digitone settings yet, but there are settings for if you want to include the effects or not i think. And the volume on the plugins in FL defaults to something like 100. By cranking it up to 127 you should at least get the correct volume on your individual tracks. Does it still sound thin after that? Or is it perhaps only that you are hearing the dry output (which i think it defaults to, and is useful if you mix itb)
