Just wanted to share something I made few days back.
This is a little ambient piece sequenced through Ableton to the Digitone. All synth sounds are generated from the DN, while effects and the field recording is done on ableton. While I love the DN sequencer and wish ableton had something like probability midi, I find it easier to use ableton for sequencing overall. It’s also easier to make generative melodies on it by programming the scale, arp, and random utilities.
Nice atmos there, enjoying it a lot. There’s a beautiful little moment at 3:42. If it was me I’d de-generate it a bit with the best parts for a finished track. A little repetition maybe. Thanks for the share.
