When I record my digitone over USB, there is a high pitched ringing on T2 Left and Right. The ringing is across all frequencies with a peak around 10kHz and 20kHz. The ringing is not present when recorded over audio.
Any ideas ?

Sounds like a usb ground loop. If u use a laptop: does it also happen when it runs off battery?
Also make sure you have plugged al your hardware into the same power socket. And if u have different usb ports and hubs available, try them all…
If it still persists then you could buy a usb ground loop isolator
