Digitone Keys and Multi Effects Pedals

Hello everybody,
so i really want to get my hands on the Digitone Keys, and i was thinking to use the four assignable outs with multi effects pedals by Zoom and Boss.
I want to hear some feedback from Digitone Keys users if somebody has done this before or used the assignable outs in some other way.
My most concern before i buy is the level of noise or hum i can get. Or does it depend on the quality of the pedal effects?
Thank you in advance.

The 4 pairs of outs are not assignable, they are hardwired to tracks 1 to 4.
They are just as clean as the outs on any Elektron box. You shouldn’t have any problems with noise if your pedals and cables are all good.
I’ve used them in a couple of different ways:

Taking all four tracks out to separate mixer channels, keeping the channel faders down on the mixer and using pre-fade sends to send to my pedals, then bringing the mixer back into the DK through the master overdrive.

Or I’m currently set up with one track feeding my H9 pedal which can then be brought back into the inputs and sent through the DK effects and overdrive.
Lots of setup options especially if you have a few pedals and a mixer.

Go for it, you’ll love it.
It’s such a good synth!
