Digitone Keys - Arpeggiator menu, where is it?

To access the arpeggiator, the manual says: Press [FUNC] + [SYN1] to open the ARPEGGIATOR menu. Press [T1–4] key to select the Sound whose arpeggiator are edited. Press [FUNC] + [TRACK NOTE] to toggle the ARPEGGIATOR on and off.

However, when I press [FUNC] + [SYN1] I get the quantize menu with no additional options. I thought I might need an update but have 1.21. What am I missing?

Thanks

Latest OS is 1.30A. I don’t know if that will solve your problems tho. Seems like weird behaviour.

Edit: Maybe the manual was copied across wrong from the original Digitone manual? Digitone Keys has a separate Arp button for tuning it off and on (directly above the D key) and FUNC + Arp should open the Arp Menu.

@eangman Could the Digitone Keys manual be wrong here, now that the DNK has a separate Arp button? I don’t own either, so I thought it best to check with you

This is the bit that OP found in the DNK manual:

I was just about to say the very same thing! He says peering at his Digitone!

Yep you wanna use the dedicated button up top.

Ah, that did it, thanks! The manual is obviously outdated. Guess I need to update my firmware as well.

Yes, as you already figured out the manual is wrong there. Sorry about that. I have now fixed the manual and the changes will appear next time I publish it. The text now reads:

The ARPEGGIATOR menu controls the active Sounds arpeggiator. The arpeggiator settings are part of the Sound and saved together with the Sound. The arpeggiator is not available for the MIDI tracks. Press [FUNC] + [ARPEGGIATOR] to open the ARPEGGIATOR menu. Press [ARPEGGIATOR] to toggle the ARPEGGIATOR on and off.

Thanks for letting me know

Thanks, I guess that should have been obvious to me though. I’ve been using the the Digitakt for a couple months, and so I was focused on the Digitone unit itself, I didn’t think of looking elsewhere.
