I would love a DK but have a quick question.
Can I midiout from the DK to an external sequencer and then midi in back to the DK to sequence the 4 channels of the DK from my ext.sequencer. My Deluge. Want to use the DK key bed as I sold my Keystep but use the Deluge as the sequencer to sequence the DK. And, might play around with the DK sequencer also at times.

Yes…i use a mpc live 2 in a similar way… But you would be missing out doing that as the elektron sequencer is fantastic!! You are better off just clocking it from the deluge once you see how freaking cool it is on its own… Create your song arrangements on the deluge…but for coming up with 8 bar ideas the digitone all day… Deluge and mpc just can’t compete within how fun it is to use…
You are now required to take your machine to couples therapy and apologize for ignoring its sexy and voluptuous sequencer. It will be hard opening up at first, and that sophomoric Deluge sequencer will be jealous, but you will thank me in the long run.
