HI! Trying to get back into my DN and i hooked it up to my Keystep and noticed that when i’m in Live recording mode it records the notes that i play but does not record the note length. Everything is 1/16 on the trig page. Pretty sure it’s not an issue with the keystep so i’m thinking there is something on the DN that i need to set up. Any suggestions?
Okie dokie well i just found the thread that said if you use the auto channel it will record note length and that fixed the problem please delete

You just have to make sure you are transmitting on the auto channel from your midi device. You set the auto channel for your DN in the MIDI config menu. Mine is set to 10 for example so as long as my keystep is transmitting on channel 10 it will affect whatever channel i have selected on the DN. Also it will record midi note lenght when in live record mode. Not sure why this is required but hey them’s the breaks kids
