Hey fellow Elektronauts,

Hope you are all great. I recently got more into the percussive sound design side of the Digitone and really enjoyed it so far. So I made a new tutorial touching on how to make a kick from scratch and adding some character to it using different synth parameters on synth page 1. Hope it gives you some great ideas for your own sound design approach and you get something out of it!

If you have some other great tips on how to make unique kicks on the DN I’m happy to hear them.

Hey Elektronauts,

I made a second tutorial on percussive sound design using the Digitone and this time looked at snare drums. In comparison to crafting kick drums, I found it way harder with snares to get the sweet spots right but I also quite enjoyed the process and learned a lot. What is your take on that? Are you using the Digitone for percussive sound design at all?
