Hello! I’m trying to use the step record mode with an external keyboard but when I play notes, a double trigger is added… This does not happen when live recording. Any ideas on what to try to fix this?
Some keyboards send MIDI “Note On” messages with zero velocity rather than actual “Note Off” when you release a key. This is often the culprit in double triggering scenarios…
Edit: Just tried this with my Digitone and Yamaha Clavinova, it works without creating double trigs.
Discovered the same thing few days ago with the take 5 controlling it
