Distortion is muting my tracks

Hi There,

My MD has started doing this peculiar thing where if the distortion setting (on the routing page) is turned up past about 75% it cuts all the sound from that track.

So for example i load up a pattern, and if any of my tracks have got distortion on they just wont play. I can see the LED’s flashing when they are being trigged but no sound. Until i go in and turn the distortion down that is and its there. Pretty annoying and it also means i cant use the distortion.

Any ideas?

It depends a bit on the track sound, if it’s quite bassy then all the distortion can end up in the sub-bass spectrum. Do you mean you’re getting it on every sound, regardless of what it is? Does it cut off suddenly or gradually?
