Is it worth the money?
Any thought from owners/users are appreciated.
Thanks.

Not really. Buying Tape909 from Goldbaby gives you more samples for the money. http://www.goldbaby.co.nz/products.html

Thanks for the tip LarsErik, but aren’t these samples customized for the AR in some way?

Well sure, the samples are sweet, handpicked and they are only a part of what you’re buying (like energyovertime wrote above).
I guess it all depends on what you want. If you don’t want to do any work yourself and you just want an “909”-emulator type thingy, some really nice 909 kits, the 909divine is the thing to buy.
But if you are in a project and you want a 909 snare you might as well use “just” a sample instead if you ask me. Pretty much any 909 sample will do in this case since samples sound so f*****g great in the AR.
And preparing samples for the AR is for me converting to 16bit 48kHz mono.
Yes.
Thanks a million for the tips folks.
I like the idea of scene and performance macros so I went for them in the end.
Hope it’s 15bucks well spent:)
Question:
Do I need to convert the Goldbaby samples before loading them into the AR?
Some convert before transferring to the AR others don’t.

I’m pretty much lost with this -
The samples have been transferred, but I have to assign everything and the sysex transfer does nothing…I have RTFM but am really struggling with the filing system’s logic…
It’s ok ish
Nothing special - there are better 909 libraries out there
There certainly are, though I was expecting something set up and ready to go. It mentions 16 kits and patterns etc, but I’m unsure how this side of it works - nothing seems to have happened when saved to a project or when I do a sysex transfer. It’s quite disappointing.
