DnB Inspired Experimental Music Thread

I like so much the minimal Bop’s style from old MedSchool, something between liquid d&b and idm:

The Frederich Robinson’s style from MedSchool too, was so fresh:

Dark and hypnotic 170 bpm drum and bass, slightly experimental and quite recent: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_kM4wcoA7SlxKDjQ83d0zPdjx1KW8ib9Dg

If it is what you’re after, I would recommend this label: Music | Conspired Within Music

Very nice… like classic Metalheadz with modern production.

The Kid Drama CNVX podcast is a solid listen for DnB influenced music. Shows are sometimes (sub)genre or bpm specific, but often a decent mix of halftime, techno, and DnB of various tempos.

Skee Mask just dropped a surprise LP that is fantastic

Yeah!

Even his better known work I still find experimental.

Boxcutter was pretty out-there, in his time. These are from 2007ish:

I’ve never listened to Photek but now I’m a fan thanks to this thread.

Anything off the samurai music label

I’ve also been working on some melodic d&b. New EP soon

Is there anyone experimental who goes in an LTJ Bukem-type direction?

I just started to read this thread and got directly hooked by the first tracks of Djrum and Skee Mask but actually many Ilian Tapes releases as really good! Thanks for sharing.

When I read the thread title I was thinking about the samurai label too. High quality breaks and atmospheres. Here’s another great act:
