Hello everyone
First post here ! I planning to do my next EP based a lot on my Digitakt and I was looking for a way to shut down some steps on the sequencer, for exemple : do not play this step on the 8/8.
Any tips ? Thanks !

you can do this using 2x trigs:
add a trigless trig (with func+trig), set to 8:8, in front of the trig you want to hear.
add a regular trig (the one you want to hear) after the first, set to _PRE
Thanks but func+trig = Quantize, how do you do it ?
Edit: Ok you keep pushing them and then you press the step
func+any of the trigs (1-16), not the TRIG menu key - confusing
“add a trigless trig (with func+trig), set to 8:8, in front of the trig you want to hear.”
Just to be sure, I am looking for a way to not hear a step playing at the 8/8, so far the trigless trig does not seems to do the trick
you need both trigs - the 8:8 trig and the _PRE trig
the _PRE action inverts the ‘offs’ to ‘ons’ - so 7x notes are played, and the last one is skipped.
It works, thanks !
