Does 4-10V mean I could use a [9V battery holder with dc 5.5] instead of the upcoming power handle for the M:C?

It will probably work but won’t last long, because 9v batteries don’t have enough capacity for MC. I would recommend using a USB to DC cable with an external powerbank!
