Hello, a Tempest is on its way. 
I’m trying to find out if it sends midi note data I.e. Can I sequence external gear with it. I read through the Q&A section on Dave smiths site but I couldn’t find a clear answer. Either way I’m stoked to pair up the MD, Tempest, A4 and OT. Woot Woot!

The most recent beta OS can sequence one external device via MIDI. Additionally the pads do send MIDI so you can play external devices via the Tempest’s pads. The implementation is a bit clumsy at this point though. The Tempest functions best on it’s own.
You can also sequence drums via MIDI on one channel, and ONE synth sound on another channel.
