i agree, tried it once and woke up with a sore neck
Love the Ocula sketch.
thanks for your post, it is very motivating to continue creating with the M: S.
Here’s something on my own if you let me share it.
You can do this on Digitakt too even better as you have 2 lfos
but you can’t toss the digitakt to your friend like a frisbee
Or buy another one for $220 US on Reverb if your friend doesn’t catch it.
got a second MS off craigslist the other day for $140, each model samples can be like a different instrument I love this beat machine
It’s the only box I don’t feel guilty about keeping if it goes unused for a few months. Because I know once I get back on it, there’s a few tracks itching to come out.
That promise is always worth more than the value of liquidation, and I can’t say that about most other gear.
All of this true!!!
I love this thing. Bought it to go with the newly acquired Monologue(recently took a shit).
It’s so easy once you understand a few basics. Anyone could get down with it!
I’ve programmed shit I had done strictly with Ableton. A lot more , hands on.
Meant to get the cycles during the recent promo. Grabbed a mixer instead.
Definitely agree ! Got the samples in a trade and think it pairs so well with my OT , making a nice balance of direct-ness and complexity
I’m trying to buy one as we speak!
I slept on it…lol. But it seems like a really cool alternative way to build a drum/melody and chord stab groove out before recording it live into the DAW while performing with all the tweaks.
How is the USB record mode? It makes no overbridge not really a problem as long as it’s not jittery and sounds good. Can anyone speak to that part?
The sleeping has ended. My wife bought me one for Valentines day
I’ve got them both, I love 'em both but I must admit a slight preference for the M:C…
This here should be called ‘Don’t Sleep on the Models’
Do you’re saying… sleep with the models?
