I have rtfm still doesn’t make sense

Your +Drive allows you to save and access some 4,000+ different sounds as well as 128 different projects. Each project has up to 128 kits, and 128 patterns.

If you want access to the sounds on the +Drive, then go to the “Sounds” section of the instrument.

Have you downloaded the full .PDF manual from Elektron’s site? It’s far more detailed than the printed Getting Started guide that ships with the instrument.

If the full .PDF manual doesn’t make much sense to you, perhaps a tutorial video would be more helpful.
Here’s a good one:

If I recall correctly, the AK comes pre-installed with 2 banks of sounds. You can find them by turning the big knob at any time (which should default to Bank 1) and scroll through the sounds that way. You can switch to bank 2 while in this mode by pressing Trig 2 on the sequencer.
There is room for over 4000 sounds on the +Drive, so loads of space for your own patches.

There are many extra sounds available on the Elektron website. You have to download them to your computer and then transfer them to the AK using the C6 program (this process is explained in the manual). The packs are available towards the bottom of the following page (you need to look for the ones marked as being for Analog Four/Analog Keys): http://eu.elektron.se/accessories/

By the way, the REAL manual is a download from the website. All you get with the AK is the Quick Start guide, which is different. You can find the manual and the C6 Program, as well as OS updates, here: http://eu.elektron.se/support/?connection=analog-keys

In order to learn the Elektron workflow, I highly recommend watching the video linked to above, and Cuckoo’s two massive Rytm tutorials. Even though the machines are different, the fundamental workflow is pretty similar.

Does the Analog Four also have a plus drive or is just the Analog Keys?

Analog four has a +drive too
