Drum programming questions

New to elektron gear. Have a couple of questions for the digitone that I can’t seem to figure out.

How can you program triplets or drum rolls (imagine trap syle drums or drum fills)? Digitakt has retrig, but that doesn’t exist here. Manual claims running in a different resolution like 3/4 to get triplets but that’s not what I’m looking for.

Is there a way to get 2 sounds from the pool to play at the same time. Like hi hats and kick drum/snare. Is using 2 steps near each other and microtiming them to hit at the same time my only option?

i just found out that you can save the sound with its arp settings. so if you add those to the pool they will be played with an arp when sound locked!
bit unconvenient though as the arp is not changeable afterwards.

yeh, you use the arp instead of retrig

if u set the note length of those soundlocked notes to very short, you’ll still get a single hit. longer notes = drum roll :smiley: also pretty crazy with cond tricks.
