DT/DN/ST reverb pre/decay times. What do 1-127 = in ms?

Anyone have these details already figured out? I use my ears obviously but I’m trying to get a bit more organised in how I rough in reverb parameters in the different devices I use and thought it might help if I knew.

The manual isn’t very helpful, the Digitakt manual has only this on the pre-delay setting.

Pre-delay sets the pre-delay time of the Reverb. (0.00–127.00)

Experimenting might give us some answers. I wonder if takes the bpm into account or is the pre-delay always the same no matter the bpm… Questions, questions, questions!

Someone from Elektron will be able to answer this but I don’t know who to tag other than @eangman who writes the manuals – sorry if I’m tagging the wrong person.

max predelay time is around 0.34 seconds.
i roughly measured the delay time by recording audio of 4x values (31, 63, 95, 127) and put them on a graph which shows the values are scaled exponentially.
not accurate at all but you get a rough idea. just use it by ear.

there’s no change in predelay when bpm is changed btw.

Thanks @garf! Any ideas on the decay time values?

hello, I made other measurements for the pre-delay time, if someone could make a graph to find the values more easily (I completely forgot my math lessons):
16/ 6 ms
24/ 13 ms
32/ 22 ms
40/ 34 ms
56/ 66 ms
64/ 86 ms
76/ 121 ms
80/ 134 ms
96/ 193 ms
112/ 262ms
127/ 336ms
