DT: Start playing pattern from page

Hey there. I am programming some trigs on page 3 of a pattern’s sequence (also set to 1/4 scale).

Is there a way to quickly start playing from this point in a pattern?

My guess is no because it won’t bring in any trigs fired before this page, but it would speed up my workflow since I’m working on some precise timing stuff and otherwise I need to wait for 45 seconds before the play head arrives at page three.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I think the easiest thing to do would be to copy the pattern into a new one, clear out the sequence and then just paste the page that you’re working on.

You could work with 1-Bar Patterns and chain them after.

You want to start at page 3 while you’re programming it, then start from page 1 when playing for real ? My model:cycles has a feature for that, you just rotate the notes by holding ‘track’ and turning level/data … presumably if it’s on the lesser model:cycles it’s on the digitakt too somewhere ?
