I’m utterly obsessed with this duo from Estonia. Love the idea of limiting themselves to the instrument (apparently a Estonian Zither…or equivalent) and the creative ways they use it. Some of the most beautiful music I’ve heard and seen for a long time.
Thank you sharing this! No doubt the simplicity of it creates a much more focused performance but it feels strangely intense. I love it.
Incredible isn’t it! I saw an interview and via the (poor) subtitles they talked about deliberately limiting themselves to see how far they could push it creatively. Just stunning.
