Hey,
I’m using the amazing sound lock feature along with microtiming to add a snare to a kick track. Is there any way I can sculpt the snare I’ve used in the sound lock without having to wait to hear it in the pattern?
Also, is there any way to load a sound from a track straight into the sound pool? Or is the sound pool only loaded from the preset manager?

Press Trig + Yes, plock parameters.
Not straight but iirc it’s possible without saving the sound. Not 100% sure.
Btw I think it’s better to save it previously if you want to edit it and load it in the soundpool again.
I’d love to be able to press a trig and load settings in the soundpool directly!
I think Jameslondon74 is testing our RTFM knowledge and I like it.
What I like to do when I use Soundlocks for drums on the DN is working with a 4-step or 8-step sequence when I’m tweaking the Sounds. When I’m happy, I extend the sequence or not.
Ha! I’m a bit tenacious when it comes to troubleshooting. So apologies for going on a bit (referring to the trig thread that you’ve all so generously contributed to).
But it’s all from a good place, I absolutely love my Digitone, and it’s awesome to be able to feedback to the community, in case anything I bring up actually ends up being a useful improvement.

It’s one of the things that triggered my decision to purchase a Digitone. I really love the Elektron community, and the love that’s out there for what they are doing. It makes the hard slog to become a pro-user all the more enjoyable and less lonely. (especially now with the C-19 situation).
When the world seems bleak, I just switch on my Digitone and give myself some FM love.
