I’m reading the manual to gain a better grasp on the Digitone… page 23 says there are eight available sounds (one for each synth track). This has to be a typo right?
Edit: each synth is a sound aka voice?

Not sure which version of the manual you have. Mine looks like this
Digitone has 4 synth tracks. 8 voices. So those could be configured as 4 synths sharing 8 voices, or 1 eight voice synth, 2 four voice synths, or any combination. Not forgetting sound locks, which allow for more than one sound on a track. Very flexible machine. Very impressive.
This is where I’m confused… and wow. That sound lock feature sounds interesting. I’ll have to look more into that. I thought I was stuck with just the four synths per pattern
Ah. Its a typo. It should read:
" A pattern contains up to four sounds ( one for each synth track ) …"
Must be an outdated copy of the manual. Mine is current. (Page 25) go to the elektron site and download the most current pdf.
Thanks for clearing that up!
