FM addition could be a gamechanger!

Iāve been holding off on working waiting for this update as I have been unsure how the whole total recall thing will work with existing projects and primarily been hoarding patches. This is all very exciting. The LFO surprises are really REALLY exciting. Sounds amazing.
Please get a public beta out ASAP for us fools who upgrade our Macs (or have to because they work in software and need to validate everything on newest releeases).

Yeah, before the 1.21RC OS update, this effect was much less useful for me. It appeared to not do anything until it was turned quite a bit, and then it became far too drastic (noise) too easily. With the 1.21RC Beta OS, I can actually hear the effect, and it sounds great. They reverted the effects to how they are now after nixing the 1.21RC OS. [/quote]
Pretty sure Bit Rate Reduction was untouched AFTER the 1.21RC updates, as the revert changes were made in the FX track.
Itās subtle and effective on the current OS.

Strange, Iāve read posts of people still complaining about it with the latest OS. Itās kind of a guessing game with Elekton I suppose. Hence, why I sold my A4 yesterday because I had no idea Elektron had this planned.
Total recall of samples within the AR as well?
Great stuff otherwiise. I didnāT catch it but the overbridge sync got improved right and I can now send a clock out of the rytm and a4 with the same accuracy?

I wonder have they re-introduced the loud FX OS 1.21RC to the RYTM ā¦ I very much liked that one version that came out. (repeating what others have already said aboveā¦)

I just wanted to make a quick point. The addition of āLinear FMā to the A4 is exactly the type of thing Elektron needs to maintain focus on. I sold my A4, ready to move on with some modular analog FM controlled by an Avalon once it arrives. But here I am, strongly considering buying an A4 again because linear FM is such an awesome addition that will bring the A4 to an entirely new level. I just wish this would have happened sooner; people have wanted this for years.

WHAT??? no sync for the retrigger??? Come on!! Itās in the manual and not on the machine!!!
Donāt tell me itās difficult to implement, Electribes have that and they were designed in 2003!!!
I hope this gets addressed soon, itās ridiculous to give priority to unlisted features and ignore something that you printed in the manual in the first place. I read the manual when I bought the AR and that was one of the features I needed the most! Please!!!
PS: I know I sound a whiner, donāt want to start the classical āharass elektronā thread. I love the new features, but that was my honest reaction, sorry

Wish theyād give a release estimate but Iām guessing it will be soon, maybe during NAMM?
indeed - video was recorded a long time ago - they wouldnāt tease it now if it wasnāt soon, likely to be another public beta type release
