MKI needs an OS update to be compatible, we are working on it. There is support in the Transfer software for it.

So, if I wanted to make a backup of my digitakt. I would create a sysex dump with c6, transfer the pertinent samples of the DT and just put them in a folder together? And the samples have some sort of hashtag system that makes it so they appear in the correct slots if i all of the information back?

I’m also interested! While it’s nice to be able to transfer the samples back from the Digitakt (i.e. to use in a DAW) it would be even nicer to be able to save projects with their samples !

Sample transfer on OT is far easier thanks to CF card, just drag and drop, nothing to complain about.
