Empty reset not working

Any ideas anyone?

I hold down FUNC while holding down ON as per manual.

I can see STARTUP MENU.

I select TRIG 2, things flash for a second but nothing changes and all the patterns remain.

Same for Trig 3 too.

Or press NEW in the PROJECT menu.
I assume this is an empty reset.

Thank you, that has cleared the projects manually one at a time, was hoping for a short cut but got there in the end.
