Emulating arpeggiator via modulation

Does anyone succeeded in creating an arpeggiator on the M:C?
The two main strategies I’m currently experimentig with are:

  • using retrig locks with tone machine and modulating both using the lfo with random waveform, pitch as destination, reset mode, and velocity with fade not set at zero and some destination (still figuring out).
    Do we know a precise function that relates lfo depth and pitch when using pitch or fine tune as destination?

  • using chord machine in unison mode and lfo with dest to color.

For arpeggios, I’ve been using tracks with a very short length, like 4. But I think the OP must have meant within a step (?), so :man_shrugging:
