Enter live recording mode without restarting the pattern?

Trying to enter live recording mode without restarting the pattern from the beginning. It’d be pretty handy while jamming with a DT as the master.

While it’s playing, hold record and hit play. Bingo!

While pattern is playing, I can press record and while maintaining, press play, it does not restart the pattern. I am missing something in your question ?

Isn’t it restarting the pattern?

Nope. I don’t remember the sequencer ever stopping/restarting without hitting stop :slight_smile:

Try it. It should work as described.

So I have been restarting the pattern on the DT this whole time.
