Wanna wear your best ones for the kidney people?
Ok, the AR still blows this one out of the water, for me, at least. Pass.
I like this, but why does it only have enough memory to save 64 patterns?
Wouldn’t even want to compare this with the AR, they’re very different pieces of gear catering to a set of quite different needs.
Ah I didn’t even think to check for a USB.
In the video from gearspace you can see they use the card slot above the midi in, that could be something too.
More space on the sd card.
On erica page it says additional memory on sd-card. Don‘t know if the machines could be changed like this. I saw a video of firmware update for black sequencer via sd.
Regarding hissing in the videos, I can tell from little fusion box, yes constant hissing that doesn’ t bother me, or that I even like, but there is also a high pitch hiss that you have to tame with lp filter( colour) knob. So to find a sweet spot for the delay for not noisy sounds its very difficult. I’m sure they do better gainstaging etc etc here but I can only use it on one or all voices ( of tanzbär), as send effect its not usable for me, but could also be the mackie mixer, its half broken to my surprise, allen heath is much better, but i don‘t understand send stuff there. Maybe its more the tube and a different delay on fusion box producing the hiss.
Edit last 3 minutes from this from blush response are perkons. Nice
Going to try to put one Perkons in my pocket on Saturday
This is giving me a perkon
About time…
$2,000. Hmmm. This or 8 Model Cycles?
might flip my Pulsar-23 for this…
2 model cycles (4 separate outs panning L/R on each cycles)
–> four overdrive pedals with filter/tone control
–> small mixer with lots of ‘mojo’ (an old boss for example)
–> a bbd pedal on a send from the mixer
would definitely be able to recreate the exact sonic territory this seems to cover and for less money but without the convenience of being in one unified box and the integration of the parts into a whole
This!
Though I don’t find it much different sounding than their LXR-02
I said as much earlier up this thread. The format of this bigger unit looks great, but sound wise I don’t see a whole lot of improvement. All that said, this new drum machine does sound good.
I was about to make the same comment but didn’t want to crash the party
But the interface probably makes the difference.
I think a design flaw is the mono mix situation with fx sends and bbd… If I’m following the sonic state video correctly, if you use the external fx sends it cancels the bbd send path. Also if you are wanting to record individual tracks I assume you would use the individual sends to daw which is cool, just a lot of rewiring everytime I want to record vs jam with MONO pedals.
The analog rytm has really spoiled me.
Maybe say fuck it and just record a mono mix and just jam and make music AND be happy for once in my life lol?
