Erica Synths PĒRKONS HD-01

rather get the Erica Synths Techno system even though cost is bit higher

I was just wondering myself how the techno system sound would compare to this one. The price is higher but it looks way more complete than the Perkons. The Perkons seems more like an experimental machine than a complete techno machine.

Have you had any chance to use the trigger ins? I’m looking forward to seeing how I can use them with my pulsar 23 or modular rack! Manual seems ambiguous about it. Thanks

just received my tracking code. gonna have to clear my schedule for this

I love how everyone on muffspace or whatever it’s called have been crying for you to give them soft demos and then you give us this.

I like the way you roll, Dave.

And I’m sure Erica Synths will be happy with the amount of extra sales you’ve just created for them.

loving these demos dave, how long’d it take you to get comfortable with it? i’ve got a live show in 2 weeks and would love to integrate the perkons into it

Thanks!
Well comfortable in noodling with it and experimenting, knowing where everything is etc: didn’t take long. But to become fluent with it to the point where I more or less know exactly how to take the sound in specific directions (other then the basic stuff)? Will take a while. Means really knowing each algorithm by heart etc. For now I save any pattern and kit that I like and I’ll take it with me on my next radio show live set to test the waters :). But the ultimate goal is to be able to just wing it on the perkons and to never get lost.

What kind of sound engines does the Perkons have exactly?

There’s a description of each in the manual.

Hey @DaveMech weird request - could you measure the unit? I’ve got one on the way (second batch so it’s still months away) but I’m trying to plan where I’m going to put it and I haven’t found the unit’s measures in the manual. No hurries since I have all the time in the world

Thanks!

Thanks @Fin25 I’ve found Thomann’s measures unreliable on occasion but I guess these look about right. Thanks again!

Yeah, not the best, but they’ve got the Syntrx down as about the same size, so it’s probably a pretty reliable guide.
