Same here. Couple of radio shows and a gig . I’m just going to do it. Have been messing with various setups. blackbox, nanobox, DT, ST , octa… combination of some of thise. Octa is just too quirky to fit into such a direct flow with perkons so im now back to Perkons, Syntakt and DB4 and that’s it
What’s your setup going to look like?

As little as I can get away with, but probably Perkons, Polivoks and OT.
Although I’m tempted to just do Perkons, Lyra and Sherman for next week’s gig. Cover up for my lack of skill with noise.

Now that a few people have received their Perkons, could anybody verify the brightness oddity? I really wonder if it’s just my unit.
Simply plug in a balanced cable into voice 4 (most obvious) Set the algo to 3 and mode to 3 as well . Tune to max, filter open. Can you hear an obvious difference in brightness? Where the main out sounds a bit like a veil is covering it?

Completely unsolicited first impressions.
It’s lighter than it looks, but still very well put together. I guess the size is related to the interface, not the amount of components, so it does have a slightly hollow feeling about it. I’m happy with that though, less weight to lug around to gigs. Although it is fucking massive.
Buttons, switches and knobs all feel good, love the old school buttons, they have a nice feel to them and feel very robust.
Colour is awesome in real life, wooden end cheeks aren’t the best, but who give a shit about end cheeks.
Not going to say much about sounds or interface yet because I’ve only had 20 minutes to play with it, so I’ve really no idea about any of that yet.
I think I’m going to see how it drones tonight, because that’s the sort of mood I’m in.

That is a very nice combo. Couldn’t do much better than that selection if following the 1 synth, 1 sampler, 1 drum machine, strategy.
