Did you get an answer on that topic ?
I second this.
The Perkons seems like a fun instrument that will align with my workflow. I had initially considered a Pulsar-23, but now strongly leaning towards the Perkons. Both are amazing, and the final decision will more than likely be a result of price discounts and availability.
A Modor DR-2 is arriving in my studio soon, which should pair nicely with the Perkons or Pulsar-23 later on.
Different slopes might be added in future fw updates I guess but yeah, a decay env for the filter not so much unfortunately.
From what I’ve heard so far I’d say that the Perkons’ hi-hats sound exceptionally nice compared to other drum machines out there.
Fact
True!
I might add that my favourite algo is the Tom on voice 3.
Instant love
The Modor DR-2 is a beast, especially since the last update, the tilt filter and the compressor are unbelievable together 🥲
How can you chain patterns?
Well that should shut up all the “what does it sound like with softer settings” weaklings.
There’s a couple of points in that video where if I shut my eyes I could be fooled into thinking I was listening to a model:cycles.
Maybe if i shut my eyes and believe it really strong with the spirit of Christmas, a unit will appear and be mine…
Hold down 2 or more buttons in pattern select mode, making sure you have set the master length.
Ok - but how can I toggle between the different bars in order to place steps?
And is it possible to link for example two 64 step patterns?
Thanks!
Yeah, not gonna lie. Pretty weak demo of this beast. That’s why I was saying I was not expecting to see a loopop video on this one.
It’s a good overview of all the features though, as usual. I think his videos are great for that.
Loopop’s review was great. You get to hear every algorithm clearly and understand it’s functionality completely. No one else does that, not even the manufacturer. Don’t worry, Baseck will get his hands on one in time and you will get to experience the sonic overload demo of your dreams.
You don’t.
16 steps is the max length.
It’s a perfectly decent loopop review, it’s definitely giving a lot of people what they asked for.
The sequencer will display the currently playing pattern so it will cycle from one to the next, there is not a way to focus on one pattern in a chain unless you unchain them.
All patterns are a maximum of 16 so not sure what you mean by 64step pattern.
If you externally sequence, can the internal sequencer record those steps?
Ok - thanks! So master length of 64 cycles across 4 patterns?
