[error] Syntakt Track 1 always gets triggered via midi machine

Hi, I`m unsure if it is a mistake or a bug:

Track 1 on my syntakt always gets triggered by any midi machine. It does not matter which channel I set on the midi machine, it does not help to turn all midi tracks off. I am puzzled.

Same here. I assume you’re controlling it via USB midi from a daw? I believe it’s the DAW that strips out the midi channel information, it’s not a bug with Syntakt.

I’m told that there are workarounds but I suspect they are on a per daw basis. I posted this question on ReasonTalk, the forum for my DAW, and got the following responses and solutions: Reason 10 - midi only sent to Syntakt track 1 - ReasonTalk.com. Haven’t given it a go since then but I’m sure it will work when I do. Hope this helps.
