I’m not sure if this has come up before, but I’d love to be able to focus a control in the Overbridge UI and then be able to use the keyboard to change the value of that parameter
Moving focus to a control should be done by clicking it with the mouse cursor, focus could be indicated just as this is done rather effectively in for example Ableton Live.
Once a control has focus, the Up and Down cursor keys should increment in steps of 1. Holding the Shift key while pressing the Up and Down cursor keys should increment in steps of 0.1 for parameters that allow fine control.
Holding Alt while using the Up and Down cursor keys could step through the relevant positions in the same way as holding Function while turning the encoder does on some parameters (this is called “parameter value skip” in the manual).
Finally, entering a numerical value would set the parameter to that value.
Keyboard control could also work in most of the graphical controls where you could focus a control point and then move it around using the Up, Down, Left and Right cursor keys.
