File Browser: Loop Sample When Previewing?

I’m unable to preview samples ‘looped’ in the OT file browser or sample slots list when pressing Function + Yes. Loop is set to ON in the Playback Setup menu.

I’ve not used single cycles for a while but I’m sure this used to work, what am I forgetting?

Stumbled across the same problem today, which makes it practically impossible to preview single cycle wav files. Any insights I’m missing?

Doesn’t seem possible, even with saved LOOP ON attributes…

It works under certain conditions we should list here before contacting Elektron.

Workarounds :

Works once loaded in slot. You can change the sample slot easily with Func + arrows, looped preview with trig 9-16 in Track mode.

Looped preview possible in AED TRIM page, according to Attributes settings.

Not possible in AED SLICE page, but you can use trigs in SLICE mode (Loop mode On)

No looped preview if Attributes Loop is set to NO…even if loop is set to ON. Set Attributes Loop to ON to make it work.

Also no looped preview for a slice until you set a loop point at the beginning.

To be confirmed.
