When opening a thread, I’d like to go directly to the first unread post. Please implement!

Works for me on Chrome!? What browsers are you using? Does the URL you see in your browser end with (for example) “/page:1#5256” ? This is the kind of thing I see when “jump to first unread” happens.
As poonti has pointed out, this feature is already implemented and has worked since it’s introduction during the beta on IE, FF and Chrome for WIN.
I’m using Opera. This function works on every other forum I visit.
I’m guessing pseen means when opening a thread from the regular forum listing, like http://www.elektronauts.com/forums/view/40
While poonti means the “Forum activity” page ( http://www.elektronauts.com/home/forum)?
Am I right?

Yes Zero, I meant from the “forum activity” view, which is what I mostly use here.
Yes, you are right Zero. I mean the regular forum listing. However, it would be nice if the “Forum activity” links did the same thing as well.

This seems to work pretty much now, but there is one special case where some confusion arises.
In the long “Night of Machines” thread I read pages 1-27, and then skipped to page 41. When there is a new thread now, I am taken to page 28, not page 42. I’d like the system to regard my “last read post” as the one on page 41, not on page 27.
Hope this makes sense.
