Can we get one of these for the new forums? One of the most important things IMO.
Try the Forum activity tab, found in the Home section. Here you can see the latest posts.

It would be great to be able to jump straight to the first unread post in a topic from that Forum activity tab.

Exactly, the Forum Activity tab is great and does update to the latest thread but as grillpanda has pointed out the thread jumps to the first post in the thread and not the first unread post. I already made a thread about this a few days ago.
