Flakey USB Disk Mode

Hey Folks,

Anyone having trouble with USB Disk Mode? Maybe after upgrading to OS X 10.11?

I managed to get the disk to come up once, but most of the time it doesn’t show up. Are there any tricks? (I tried starting the disk mode before plugging in, and starting it after plugging in. Didn’t seem to make a difference).

The USB device doesn’t show up in the “USB Device Tree” in the “System Report” Tried two different cables, and both of the ports on my laptop.

Try to switch Off/On the OT and give it a shot…

These are grounding issues.

Plug the usb cable into the computer first and after that power on the OT and go in to USB mode.

If you still are having issues. Connect computer and the OT to a common ground, i.e a mixer.
