This is bold
This is underlined

how come then when i do this in other posts it doesn’t work, if this actually did work ?

For what it’s worth, the formatting appears correct to me (Safari on OS X 10.9).

cheers - clearly an issue with older browsers, i’m stuck with the 10.6.8 version of Safari, will compare now to chrome

…okay … slight improvement, it does italic now, but still no bold !

Should be fixed now. But perhaps a bit too fat on non-Mac-OS systems?

Fot the record, the bold is now working, but the italic is not, from my seat on Safari 5.1.10, the latest you can run on 10.6.8
i’ve used the formatting in this, i’ll see if i can see it !

works fine now on Chrome on OSX 10.6.8 fwiw

Yeah, sorry. Just tested with Chrome, and there italic worked anyway. Now italic works in Safari too. As well as combined bold/italic.

I’m happy with that, but for the record, the fonts are unusual sizes, it’s more clear in a way, but here’s what i see, so you know …
