Hello
Can I produce a track in Abletons Live with Overbridge and then send it in the AF MK2 step sequencer?
So that I can play the track live without MacBook and Abletons Live?
Thanks
Not by my setup but I think you can set this up - make sure the midi out (from the sequencer) is linked to the AF then you’d need to record it on the AF’s sequencer & save. Sure I’ve recorded an arp from a softsynths midi out into the AK. I had to manually trigger recording but I’m sure you could set up CC messages so everything triggered at the same time? And I think I had to set my AK to USB/Midi rather than over bridge when recording the sequence or it didn’t work.
Hope that’s some help.
(And save the kit/pattern)
It depends. Note triggers are easy to record, but recording CCs is not.
Since the Elektron sequencer is a step sequencer recording fast changing CCs will result in a kind of stepped/jumpy experience (because it records the value of the controller only at each discrete step). To overcome this you’ll need to program parameter slides directly on the device.
Thank you for your tipps! I will try it out.
